Getting here
Twenty minutes from Kamloops
Harper Mountain is at 2042 Valleyview Drive, Kamloops. The hill puts the drive at twenty minutes — close enough that a half day is worth it and a cancelled day costs you almost nothing.
Hours
No current operating hours are published
This concept will not invent them. The only operating information on the hill's site today is last winter's banner, reproduced beside this — still live in late July, still announcing a Christmas that has been and gone.
Always check before you drive up. Weather and conditions can change a day at short notice. Call the hill on 250-828-0608 or 250-573-5115.
Last winter's banner — not current
Still published on the hill's home page. Reproduced here to show the problem, not to tell you when Harper is open.
- Posted status
- Open daily

- Skiing and tubing
- Dates shown
- Dec 21 – Jan 5
- Closed
- Dec 25
A dated banner is a small thing until it is July and the front page still says "Closed Dec 25". A live build would let this expire on its own.

The figure Harper Mountain publishes itself. Driving times from anywhere else are not published, so this concept does not list any.
Address
2042 Valleyview Drive
Kamloops, British Columbia

This is the address the hill publishes. A live build would put an embedded map and a one-tap directions link right here, which is what most people actually want from a "getting here" page.

Planning a day
A twenty-minute hill changes how you plan
Nobody books a hotel to ski at Harper. They finish work, or finish school, and drive out — which means the website's job is not inspiration, it is answering two questions fast: is it open, and what does it cost today.
Facilities, food, rentals and lesson details are not published in a form this concept can verify, so they are left out rather than guessed at. Call ahead and the hill will tell you.

Check that it's open
The current site has no live status. Until it does, a phone call is the reliable answer — and a live status block is the cheapest thing on this whole concept to build.
-
Ask about tubing separately
Skiing and tubing both run at Harper, but tubing hours and rates are not published. If half your car is tubing, confirm before you leave.

Dress for the interior
The Thompson is dry and it gets cold. Twenty minutes of driving does not mean twenty minutes of the same weather — the hill is its own climate.
